- What a great 4 years, I ran the main switchboard (Korbecke Military) in Fort Henry. Seen the closure of all Forts until we finally were only one in Fort Chambly and was on the second last flight out on July 07,1971. Learned to sail on the Mohnee See with the Brit Sailing Club. I coached kids hockey and girls softball and my wife Karen was one of the star pitchers in the ladies league. Children Kelly & Tim still have fond memories of Soest and especially of some of our German friends. Thanks to all for a great experience--- The Murphy Family
