- I was borne in 1958 so my memories of those early years in Germany are a little sketchy. I do remember Grade 1, 2 and 3 in Fort Macleod. My older brother Terry and sister Sandy went to the school located down the across what I thought was the mainstreet in Hemer: Across from the parking lot where the buses picked up us 'little kids'. I remember making about 25 marks washing cars in the MLS parking lot on Saturdays and the Felsenmeer (sp??) rock formations. And of course Paul Boon's (again spelling is questionable) where a 7 year old could buy firecrackers and stinkbombs!
