- So happy to see this site, hope to show my Dad, (James W.) who was a "gunner" 1 RCHA, C Bty and 1 SSM Bty at Fort Prince of Wales 61 - 64 and 66 - 70, then Lahr. I was very lucky to go back in 94 for a visit, my mom's cousin Manfred showed my fiance and I some great German hospitality for a few days, saw the town (including the hospital where I was born, gate to the Fort) and area including the Mohne ? dam.
