- My father was stationed in Hemer when he met my mother who was from Hemer. His name is Don Thivierge and her name was Erika Zatska (sp) I would love to connect with someone who may have known them. While there they had a son named Donald Jr. I believe my dad would have been there between 1957 and 1961. When they came back to Canada Erika was expecting their second child.
