- Interesting seeing the old photos of Deilinghoffen and 1SSM (although I had trouble getting a slideshow). I left the unit and the Canadian Army in the summer of 1968 to return to university for post=graduate studies. But, I had married a girl from Iserlohn and so returned frequently over the years to the area even after the Canadian units had moved to Lahr.
