Excellent site, I came across it by chance. Look forward to more pictures. We went up from Lahr & Baden and stayed at Fort York in May '93 as us (8th Canadian Hussars) and 3 RCR exercised the freedom of the city of Soest. An incredible weekend as the people still really liked the Canadians and of Iserlohner Pils. Later that summer, on the way back from Berlin, we stopped at our old PMQ area on Von Behwing Strasse. I do not have a lot of recollection of the time as I was an infant. My Father, Colby Yeomans, was in the Strathconas at Fort Beausejour and before at Fort Chambly in Soest. He passed away last year but always said these tours up north were the highlight of his career. I would like to re- visit the area the next time I go to Europe
