My dad was in RCEME (Woody Woodfine) and we spent two tours in Germany. I live in Halifax, Dad lives in Sydney Mines in a DVA hospital, he has MS and has had it for his all of his army career. This will be a great site and good luck.

Lived in Soest 62-65. Grade 4,5,6 at elementary school in PMQ's Lived 68F Van Holland Weg. Now live in Halifax. My wife Brenda Drysdale also lived in Soest same time. I did not know her then. We visited Soest in 89 It looked the same.

Lived in Werl and went to school in Soest from 69 to almost the end of 70 and then moved to Lahr. Played hockey for Soest Kleine Huskies. Loved the place and have many fond memories of time spent in Germany

My father was a Sgt in the Ordnance Corps and on the rear party responsible to close out Northern Germany. I served with 4CMBG in Lahr, but was a high school student in Soest. We were the last family to leave. Good Luck with the site. I will pass it on
