J. Crawford Our Crawford family lived in Hemer during the 50s and 60s.Dad was with PPCLI 1st Bat. My older brothers, Kevin and John attended Hemer elementary school, I think it was on the base somewhere? I will try to find some old pictures from that time and send them in. Gary Turner Congratulations and sincere thanks on a great site. Most sites are of the 'south', the north seems to have faded away until now. In Hemer days we lived in Langscheid in a beautiful old stone house overlooking the Sorpesee. A promise to myself years ago was if I ever win the lottery will go back and buy it. Tony Verge I was a PMQ brat, my dad Ralph Verge was stationed for a year in Soest, two years in Hemer and a Year in Lahr. I had three brothers who attended Hemer Senior High at the same time. Mike Verge, Bruce Verge and Gary Verge. Looking for info on my closest friend during my Hemer years - Paul Hughes. His dad was the vice principle of the school. Jim Steward What a very nice site!! I was part of the Soest close-out, although I returned to Canada in June, 1971. Very fond memories of my tour there and reading the information on this site prompts more. Also, one daughter born there in 1970. I will return to this site often. Keep up the good work. Hazel Liley The site is fabulous guys. High school in Soest will always remain the highlight of my life - especially after the reunion in Ottawa. Yes I eventually did stop crying!! Rick Graszat Our basketball team from Lahr was up in Soest fall 69 or winter 70 can't recall, for a tournament. Met a lovely girl (blonde) and can't seem to recall her name. You folks came down for a teen competition (darts, bowling etc.) in the spring of 70. August 11, 2002
