Ian | Knowles | The best years of my life. Three years with no TV, just good old fashion playing outside. Who can forget playing in the forest behind the PMQ's . Playing in the rock formations on the way to the base , trading comics, the move theater, the great long exploring walks with your pal's. It's amazing how much fun you can have without TV. Terry Penny and Lee if you out there please contact me. Thanks for the wonderful memories. ( I still have my report cards for grades three and four) | June 24, 2004 |
Wes | Hamilton | A great site...recognize a few entries...good to see some interest by the next generation....have managed to return, as my daughter now resides in Tubingen. Our children attended School in Werl 62-65, and of course went through all our attempts to communicate in German. I am now fascinated with her now complete fluency.4CIBG was I believe the high-point of my 33 year military career. The tasks of today's military are much less desirable than a our "Tour of the Ruhr". Feel fortunate all our "Bug-out's" were only "dry run's"....and we got to immensely enjoy a working holiday. Regards, Wes Hamilton, Angus, On. | June 15, 2004 |
